Chef Ben Watson and his wife Priya have worked in some of London’s most celebrated restaurants. Most recently, Ben joined the start-up team at Core by Clare Smyth which was awarded its third Michelin Star in 2021. Since arriving at the Golden Ball in November 2022, Ben and Priya have established a reputation for outstanding food and friendly, efficient service.

Situated in Lower Assendon a tiny village in the Assendon valley in the Chiltern Hills, about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) northwest of Henley-on-Thames in South Oxfordshire, England. With the footpaths over the chilterns and Stonor Park just up the road the surrounding area awaits your footprints, followed by a fantastic meal in the Golden Ball of course!
